I had never been to Bear World before, even though it's so close to home. My sister asked us to go, and I thought Jaylee might like it, so away we went. I must say... WE had so much fun!!

Another Easter Celebration

This last weekend we celebrated Easter with my side of the family! We went up to my parents house and had a yummy dinner and the girls got their easter basket from Grandma and Papa!

Coloring Eggs!

Jaylee had a little too much fun coloring Easter eggs, but it was SO fun to watch!

I got little stickers for her to stick on them, and crayons to color!

Grandma Johnson and I helped her color these while Grandpa Johnson and Daddy were downstairs doing the electrical in our basement! (They got so much done, we are so excited for it to be done)!

She didn't quite know what to do at first...

Then she jumped right in!

The end result! She did so well for her first time coloring eggs. It was messy, but not as bad as I had imagined! Needless to say, we hopped right into the bath after this project!! :)

Easter Morning

We got to spend this Easter with Eric's parents! We are glad anytime they can come and visit, and even better on a Easter since we spend so little holiday's with them!

Jaylee woke up to her Easter Basket, and was so excited to check it out!

Jaylee is OVER a year and a half now! It's so amazing how fast it all goes!!! We had Grandma and Grandpa Johnson here last weekend for Easter, and we are celebrating with my parents this weekend. Once all of the festivities are done, I will post one big Easter blog! Stay tuned...

We finally made it to Weiser after a long 4 months! We left at about 7am on Friday morning. Eric took the day off so we had a little more time to visit!! On our way we stopped at Carter's and got Jaylee some cute new clothes, and then we headed over to Weiser!

We got to see all of our family except for Eric's brother Troy, he was traveling for work.

Jaylee had SO much fun playing with her cousins and seeing her Johnson side of the family!

We were unloading everything, and she was just exploring!

We tried to get a good picture of all 6 of them, but it didn't turn out as well as we wanted. This is the best one we got out of like 10 tries!

Grandma bought these cool wax string things... you could mold them into whatever you wanted... Jaylee LOVED them!

Birthday Ballon Wreath

This is so cute, I just had to share!!!

What you will need:

200 floral pins

(You can find them anywhere near the artificial flower section)

200 1.5-2" multicolored balloons

I used a 12" Straw Wreath

(but you can use whatever size you want... just buy more or less balloons according to the size)

Here is a picture of the Floral Pins!

Take the pins and place them AROUND the small part of the balloon...

Stick into the straw wreath. --Note that I kept the plastic on the wreath so it wouldn't shed!

And it's as easy as that!!! Super easy, and such a fun idea for your door for those family birthday's!

We have a one year old on my hands!!! She is now a Toddler (I hate that word)! She is taking steps, talking up a storm, talking on the phone, and becoming such a little lady! We had a small little family get together for her birthday yesterday, but the big bash is this Saturday! We are so excited (pictures to follow)! I took little miss to the doctor today for the WORST round of shots yet! She was not happy, but we are glad they are over with! Here are her stats...
Weight: 19lbs 8oz (25th%)Height: 31" (96%)Head: 18 1/4
We have a tall skinny on our hands!!! She has dropped in weight and gotten taller. The doctor isn't concerned as she is just more active and suddenly a picky eater!!! :)

Our baby isn't going to be a baby much longer :( She is getting so big, and is learning so many new things!!!! She is amazing! Here are 11 things she does and LOVESSSSS...
She LOVES her pink bear. She now has to have her when she goes to sleep... she says "bear" until we give it to her :)She is walking on EVERYTHING, but hasn't taken the plunge to walking without holding onto something yet. She copies everything I say and do. She dances EVERY TIME she hears music. Even my ringtone on my phone. She loves her bath, and daddy taught her to splash with her legs :)Her favorite thing is being outside!!She likes to give hugs and kisses... even to the dogs! She is starting to try all sorts of foods and loves it all. She says "HI" to everyone, even strangers in the store.She still doesn't have ANY teeth, but hopefully any day now! She loves when we lay a blanket down on the floor, she will lay there and just kick her feet and babble! :)
We are so lucky to have her in our lives! She is the cutest little thing I have ever seen! I can't believe in only 2 weeks she will be ONE. :(

Jaylee is 10 months old, and SOOOOO much fun. She's learning new things each and every day! It's so exciting to watch. She waves bye bye to EVERYONE. She stands up on everything she comes into contact with.She walks all over the house holding our handsShe likes taking bike rides with us.She claps, does "arms up", says getcha getcha, booga booga and waves bye!Shakes her finger and say no, no! (we're in trouble)She puts her hands over her eyes and plays peek-a-boo.She is a posing baby, she does the same face right as the camera comes out.She crawls on her hands and knees when she's not in a hurry, otherwise it's the army crawlShe says Birds, Trees, Meow, Dog, mmmmmmm (when she takes bites), duck, bock bock, monkey noises... and many more!
There are many more things that she does, and I will have to update as I remember!!! All I know is I am SO lucky to have this little girl in my life. She's brought so much joy into our lives, and I couldn't imagine life without her! I love you Jaylee Jean!

Yes! It's true. Jaylee turned 9 months on the 22nd of June! Here are 9 of her favorite things...
She loves her dada! She kicks and squeals with excitement when he comes home from work. She is STILL army crawling, but is SUPER fast at it. I don't think she'll crawl. She is a climber, and is now hoisting herself up on EVERYTHING within reach.She is a busy body, and never holds still. She waves and says buh buh (bye bye)She still loves for me to hold her bottle, and won't hold it herself.She LOVES those yogurt snacks and cereal treats. Also, trying new foods that we eat. She likes to walk with us when we hold her hands. She is super tickelish under her chin, I can always get her to laugh!
Also, Jaylee can clap her hands, and when you say "arms up" she puts her arms clear up in the air!!! LOVE IT
She's truly the cutest thing I have ever seen. She bring so much joy into our lives. We love our bebe!!

That's right. She's EIGHT WHOLE MONTHS old! I got on the scale with her and she weighs 18lbs!

Keeping with the EIGHT theme, here are 8 new things she's doing!

She can shake her head YES and NO!

She is ARMY crawling all over the place. HELP! Crawling is right around the corner!

She is starting to eat those little cereal snacks and freeze dried yogurt drops!

She reaches for me and cries when I leave the room.

She gets SOOOOO excited when daddy comes home from work.

She loves being outside!

She likes to pull on Diesel's hair!

She absolutely loves other kids. Even pictures of them she squirms with excitement every time!

She loves reading her little books! (Especially the page with the Seal and Kitties)

This little girl has stolen my heart! Sometimes I just look at her and want to cry, happy tears of course! She has taught me SO much and I am so thankful for her. She's wonderful, and I couldn't be luckier to be her mommy! I am PROUD to say she's my daughter! I am sure that feeling will just keep getting stronger!

Aunt Caysie decided we should see how she looks with a little hair! SOOO funny!

Our little precious baby is SEVEN months old! I cannot believe that she's almost been here as long as I was pregnant with her. She has seriously been the best thing to happen to us, and we love her more and more everyday! I got on the scale with her and she weighed 18.6LBS! She's our little chubber, and we love every single roll on her!

Here are some new things she doing!

She says DADA and MAMA! We LOVE hearing her say those words! It's so rewarding!

She rolls EVERYWHERE, why crawl when you can roll to where you want to go!

She clapped her hands for the 1st time on Saturday!

When we say "jump, jump" she bobs her head like she's in her bouncer.

She still hates to get clothes put on her.

She's still sleeping from 9 to 9 or 9:30! We are so lucky!

She's lifting her belly up off the floor ... I am sure she'll be crawling in the somewhat near future!

She lifts her chest up and her legs up and kicks like she's swimming.

She is learning so many new things! It's so bittersweet... I love watching her learn, but my baby is growing up so fast!!

I can hardly believe that Jaylee is already 6 months old. It makes my heart drop everytime I say it. She is truly the best thing that has ever happened to Eric and I. She's such a happy girl and I LOVE watching her learn new things. She makes me SO very proud.

Weight: 16lbs 10oz 65th %

Head: 17in 77th%

Here are a few new things she is doing...

She is sitting SO well by herself. She still topples over every once in a while, but she is getting the hang of it.

She is starting to babble and squeal ALL the time.

She is eating Veggies and Fruit! She is starting to figure out the whole spoon thing.

She loves to watch Diesel play and also pulling on his ears :)

She puts EVERYTHING in her mouth, I thought it was bad before!

We had a birthday party for my lovely mom on Saturday! Caysie cooked a delicious roast and mashed potatoes and I made a homemade chocolate carmel cake with whipped cream!

Kiah was feeling under the weather at our St. Patty's day party. We were careful and washed our hands a million times, but unfortunately we caught it. By WE I mean Eric and I. THANK GOODNESS. Jaylee somehow didn't get it. TWO sick parents taking care of her and she didn't get sick. It was a MIRACLE.

We did luck out, well as lucky as you can be catching the flu. I woke up SUPER sick and was throwing up with a fever until around 3ish. During that time Eric took care of Jaylee, cleaned the kitchen and did laundry :) My parents came over around 3 to help with Jaylee bearing popsicles and medicine. Right around then ERIC started to feel SUPER sick. Then it was my turn to take care of Jaylee once my parents left. Being sick at different times of the day worked out for us! When we were both yucky feeling my parents were here!

I am still feeling a little OFF but I am at about 90% back to normal. THANK GOODNESS.

I always forget how HORRIBLE being sick can be.

This was at about 10:30pm. Eric didn't have the energy to get off the couch until around 12 to come to bed. He took Monday off work to fully recover.

On a lighter note. I lost more weight having the flu for 1 day than I have going to the gym 3 days a week for 2.5 months. Ahhh... kinda depressing! haha

St. Patty's Day

Shantay was nice enough to throw a St. Patty's Day party for us, and Brianna was nice enough to have it at her humble abode! I didn't get many pictures, but there was plenty of GREEN food and Festive games. Here are some of the few pictures I did get!

Our Sweet baby is FIVE whole months old. Times flies. She is cute as ever and has the best personality. Here are a list of Jaylee's Accomplishments and Favorite things!

-She now sleeps from 9:30ish to 9am! Jaylee loves her sleep as much as mommy!

-She rolls like crazy now. She can get to her belly no problem, but not from her belly to her back. It's funny because the first time she rolled she rolled from her belly to her back. Now she can't do it.

-She is trying to sit up and we are practicing everyday!

-She laughs A LOT. It's pretty easy to get a giggle out of her, and I LOVE it.

- She sucks on her hands, and EVERYTHING she can get that little mouth on.

- She is starting to LOVE Diesel. She pets him everytime he's close enough, sometimes pulling his hair, but he doesn't mind too much.

- She scratches everything. When I change her on the fl

oor, she tickles the bottom of my feet, when she's in her crib she scratches her bumper, on her changing table she scratches her shirt. It's pretty cute.

-She is also a thumb sucker. She prefers her thumb over her binki now! It's the cutest thing, but I hope I can get her to stop when she gets little teeth!

We are so proud of this little one. We love her SO much!

Visiting Family and Engagement Party

We traveled to Weiser this last weekend to see Eric's family and to go to our good friends, Jess and Amy's Engagement Party! Jaylee did great driving down there, but was SO ready to get out of her little car seat. It was so good to see Eric's whole family, and all of our Moscow/New Plymouth/Boise friends! Here are some pics, in NO order. I don't want to go through and move them all... and the up-loader always mixes em up!

Today is my sister Caysie's 27th Birthday! So to celebrate the occasion, I thought I would write 27 things I LOVE about her! So here it goes...
1. She's a great mom!2. She's good at everything she does. 3. When Jaylee was only a few weeks old, and I was feeling lonely because Eric had to go to back to work, she spent 3 whole days at my house helping me with the baby and just keeping me company. All without me asking. 4. Everytime ANYTHING happens, I call her first because I know she will be just as excited/interested as I am. 5. One of the things I (and all of our guests) remember most about our wedding, was her Maid of Honor speech, because there wasn't a dry eye in the place afterwards!6. Her hair :) I am jealous! 7. How when I do something wrong with Jaylee, like cut her nail too short... she makes it seem like no big deal and helps me live with myself :) And tells me how she has done it too, even though she probably hadn't.8. How when Jaylee was REALLY colic-y she would come over and switch kids with me to give me a much needed break.9. How she always picks up little things for Jaylee while she's out shopping, and it's always something cute! 10. How she gave me everything she had for Ryah when she found out I was having a girl. Therefore I didn't have to buy as many clothes, a play mat, a bumbo, a bouncer etc....11. How she has motivated me to get up at 5:30am 3 days a week to work out! 12. How much she loves Jaylee.13. She's a great shopping buddy.14. How she tested out ALL the baby gear, so I knew just the stuff to buy when I had a baby! :)15. How even when we fight, it's only for a few hours.16. How well her and Eric get along. 17. How she asked me to be her Maid of Honor!18. How she gave me one of the cutest Nieces EVER!19. How hard she works at school, and how great of grades she gets! 20. Being my second mom when I lived in Moscow, even though I hated it at the time. 21. How even though Diesel annoys her because he is always jumping on her, she still pets him and gives him attention. 22. How she always lets me tell her what happens in a TV episode even if she hasn't watched it yet just so we can talk about it. 23. How she was in the room when I had Jaylee, and made sure NOT to turn the camera on until she was all the way out :)24. How she was on the boat ride with us when I got engaged. 25. She's always been around for the important things that have happened in my life. ( see #'s 5, 23, & 24)26. How she let me borrow her Wii Mario game for a week when she had only had it for a few days. 27. That she is truly my BEST FRIEND!!

That's right... she is already 4 MONTHS OLD! The time has gone by soooo fast! I swear the weeks just fly by! I guess whoever said time flies when you're having fun was so right!

We took Jaylee to the Pediatrician today, and here are her stats:

Weight: 14lbs 6oz - 68th percentile

Length: 25.5 inches - 91st percentile

Head: 16.5 inches - 74th percentile

She is a TALL lil' lady!

Some new things Jaylee does:

She laughs all the time! I will just be rocking her sometimes and she'll just laugh! (It's the best sound ever)

She loves watching her "your baby can read" videos! (She also goes #2 EVERY-TIME she watches them! Don't ask me!)

She sucks on her hands CONSTANTLY! And recently found her THUMB! Ahh

She also officially found her feet! I love watching her hold onto them!

She grabs at EVERYTHING! Especially her toys on her play mat!

She has been sleeping so good lately! One night she even slept from 10-8!

She rolls from her belly to her back and rolls to her side from her back.

She can find Eric and I anywhere in the room when we are talking to her, she looks and looks until she sees us!

She kicks really fast when she gets excited, it sounds like a running horse!

She likes to look at herself in the mirror.

Jaylee's Movin' Up!

It has been almost a week since we moved Jaylee into her crib! I thought I was going to move her in there at 3 months, but I just couldn't do it. I finally got up the courage (when Eric didn't have to work the next day, so he could help) to do it and Jaylee did SO well with the transition!

Her little bassinet moved back and forth, so every-time she would toss an turn in the middle of the night, I would just turn it on and back to sleep she would go! I was nervous that she got way too used to this, and she was going to wake up a million times during the night and not go back to sleep unless she was moving.

Much to my surprise, she only woke up once or twice only to fall right back to sleep, and slept from 10:30pm-5:00am and then 5:30am-9:00am! This a pretty good night for her!

She has since slept just as well, other than a few night while I think she was experiencing a growth spurt (which is expected at 4 months!).

The next morning I woke up to a babbling baby (which is the BEST sound ever)! She just looked SO happy and like she got a good nights rest! I had to get a little picture to document the occasion! Notice she is upside down! She's a little wiggle worm!

Jaylee is such a good baby, and I feel so lucky to be her mom!

Grandma & Grandpa Johnson's Visit

Eric's parents came to visit this past weekend. It was so great to see them! We hadn't seen them since we went to Weiser for Thanksgiving, and Jaylee had changed SO much!

They left on Friday after Sheri got off of work at around 5:45, and didn't get here until 11. We figured Jaylee would be in bed for sure by then! She fell asleep 2x but insisted on waking up again and again to wait for Grandma and Grandpa! She must have been excited!!! She wanted all the time she could get with them!

This is the night they got here! She was just as happy to see them as they were to see her!

They brought Jaylee's Christmas presents with them, and she already loves her little cell phone! She would just stare and kick her feet!

Sunday morning Jaylee decided to wake up at 5:30am and not go back to sleep!

She must have known that her grandparents were leaving and AGAIN wanted to get all the time she could with them! She hasn't ever gotten up that early and not gone back to sleep, so something was defiantly up!

Therefore, she fell asleep laying on Grandma a few hours later! It usually takes a little effort to get her to sleep, but we looked over and she was snoozing right where she was laying! So cute!

I put Jaylee on her belly for tummy time, and she started to teeter on her side. She has been rolling onto her side from her back for weeks and weeks and I have been waiting for her to finally roll. Little did I know she'd roll from her belly to back first! I probably would have had time to get the video camera, but I didn't want to leave to get it and miss the 1st roll! So I grabbed the camera and caught her right before she gave the final push! I was glad that Eric's mom was there to see since she misses a lot of Jaylee's firsts!

I am SO proud of her! Now if I could just get her to do it again! :)

It was SO nice to see Eric's parents again! We got a little shopping in, ate like we didn't care if we gained 10lbs, and laid around and enjoyed Jaylee! It was a good weekend!

This Video was on December 30th! I was taking with Jaylee (in baby language of course) and she kinda started to giggle, so I ran and got the camera!

She started full on laughing :) It is the cutest thing in the world!

Jaylee is 3 MONTHS Old!

I just can't believe my little Jaylee is 3 months old! It has gone by so quickly, but then again, I can't remember life without her... nor do I want to!

She is getting so fun! Here is a list of some of her quarks!

-She smiles at me like crazy! She is starting to really know who I am! She knows when her momma has her! She's my little mommy's girl!

-She loves when her daddy comes home from work. He will walk in and she hears his voice and starts looking all over for him!

-She is starting to roll onto her side... here is a picture!

-She has been sleeping pretty well at night, usually 5.5-6 hrs! 7 if we are lucky! But she has been sleeping worse during the day! Little stinker!

-She LOVES eating her hands even more now! Her face is always covered with slobber from sticking her fingers all the way in her mouth... sometimes gagging herself!

-She has been lifting her legs ALLLL the way up as far as they go, and letting the slam down on whatever she's laying on! She does it mainly in her bed, trying to keep herself awake I decided. So getting her to sleep has been quite a bit more difficult lately. It's so funny though. I will record it tonight :)

-She's FINALLY eating 4oz.... almost! :)

We are so lucky to have this little lady in our lives! She has showed us what it is to love someone more than life itself!

It has AGAIN been a long time since I blogged. Hard to believe it was before Thanksgiving since I posted anything. Don't worry, I still get on here and read everyone else's posts... figured I better return the favor!

We went to Weiser for Thanksgiving and had a great time. Jaylee did SO good in the car on the way there and back. It takes quite a bit longer now that we have a little one, but she really did well! We had a good time with his family and seeing everyone that we hadn't seen for a while! Jaylee got to meet her cousins that she had never met before, and got lots of attention from the family.

Unfortunately, Jaylee and I caught a cold while we were there, but we had a great time seeing everyone. Jaylee's cold is almost gone too! Just a little stuffy still :)

Here is our little "Turkey" and I on Thanksgiving!

I recently cut my hair off! It took quite the nerve for me to do it, but I went through with it! Danielle did such a good job, now I just have to figure out how to style it in different ways! I have really liked the change!

Here is our Christmas Tree! My parents got us a new artificial tree and I was SO happy it was pre-lit! Makes putting the tree up so much easier. Eric's mom also bought us some bulbs for it too! I liked how it turned out, but am already thinking of some changes I will make next year!

She is getting SO big!

She is starting to hold her head really well! She kept sliding and would have fell face first in the couch if I wouldn't have caught her!

Jaylee has been doing so great! She's getting a lot more laid back lately which is nice! She doesn't always have to be held, and she's starting to get where she doesn't always have to be bounced either! She lays on her back and rolls onto her side! She talks and talks to me and smiles SO big! I can't wait until she giggles! I love her more everyday! Being a mom is the best!

I promise I will be better about posting more often! We Hope everyone has a safe and Merry Christmas!

Jaylee's 2 Month Check-Up!

Today we had Jaylee's 2 month appointment! She had her first set of shots and actually did really well! She of course cried when they poked her, but after the nurse left, and I was getting her dressed... she was smiling and cooing at us! I hope tonight goes okay, and that she doesn't get a fever or have any other complications!

Here are her 2 month stats:

Head: 15.5" - 65%

Height: 23.5" - 88%

Weight: 11lbs 14oz - 76%

I can't believe that she weighs almost 12lbs! She is growing so fast, and I love her more each and every day! Here are some of her new milestones...

She LOVES when you talk to her, she will coo at you all day!

She smiles at us when we talk to her now! I can't get enough of it!

She is now out of newborn clothes because she is too long!

She loves to lay on the floor and look around.

She found her hands and always tries to fit her WHOLE fist in the mouth

She also plays with her tongue a lot and sticks it out when she's concentrating!

She is getting lots better at holding her head up, it's a lot more steady these days.

I am sure I will think of more later, but that's all I can think of right now!

We are going to attempt to make our first long car ride with her to Weiser for Thanksgiving! We are leaving Thanksgiving day and will be coming back home on Sunday. I hope the roads are good and we don't have any problems traveling. I think Jaylee will do great, she always just sleeps in the car!

As of lately...

I have been pretty bad about blogging lately, but I am going to work on that! A lot has happened in the last little while! We finally moved into our house, when I say MOVE, I mean JUST that. We have all of our stuff MOVED over to this house, but it is not organized by any means! It's so hard with a baby... Eric and I often take turns on the weekends, he will watch the babe while I work, or vice versa! We are slowly but surely getting it all put away.

We got our washer and dryer this week (FINALLY). Have a look at these beauties! I went over a week without a washer or dryer, and let me tell you... the laundry piled up! Jaylee would have ran out of PJ's if it weren't for my mom! Let's just say I defiantly took having a washer and dryer for granted!

Here is a picture of our new home! Eric spent a cold Sunday outside putting up our mailbox! I LOVE having a mailbox right out front! At our other house we had one of those boxes where you had to have a key and such. We just love our new house! I will post pictures of the INSIDE once it's presentable!

Happy Birthday to my WONDERFUL Husband! His birthday was actually November 9th, but we have been SO busy with our little girl, and moving into our new house (post on these will follow).

I can't imagine my life without Eric. He treats me so so good and has always been there for me! He works incredibly hard for our little family. He's a WONDERFUL dad, and I am so thankful for him!

I am sorry I have been such a bad blogger lately! I have been pretty busy as most of you can imagine! 8 days after Jaylee was born, she was spitting up and projectile vomited a few times... so I called the pediatrician. They told me there were no openings, but that I needed to get her into the ER just to be safe! We took her in, and they said that she more than likely had a bug, or just a lot of acid in her stomach and was getting rid of it. I have to tell you, it scared me SO bad. I was a mess! I know this is my first child and everything is new, but she is SOOO stressful and makes me worry constantly! Every little peep she makes, I am like "is that normal"? Eric and my family are probably so tired of hearing that! She is still spitting up, but not like she did the day we took her in. We go to the pediatrician tomorrow, so we'll see what's going on!

I can't believe that she is 2 weeks. The time has flown by, and we are SO happy to have her in our lives. She hasn't been sleeping the GREATEST, but it could definatly be worse. She usually wakes up every 2-2.5 hrs to eat. Some nights are better than others, but I just hope she starts to get the hang of things! Here are a few pictures of our little angel!

Jaylee Jean Johnson

Jaylee was born 9/22/09 at 6:29pm. She weighed 7lbs 3oz and is 19 in long! She was grunting when she was born so they took her to the NICU. She was doing fine after a few hours but they were required to keep her 12 hours. We went and saw her lots through the night, and she should be in our room with us anytime now. She is just perfect and we are SO in love. Will post pictures once we can get a little time with our baby girl :)

I went to the doctor today and I was dilated to a 2 and 95% effaced. I made a little progress :) We decided that we were going to schedule an induction for tomorrow morning. So we just have to call the hospital at 6:30am and then go in around 7:00pm unless they had a TON of people come in during the night. If that's the case, then we won't go in until around 9:00am-ish.

We are SO excited to meet our little girl, and it's not going to be too long before we can hold her in our arms! She will be 3 almost 4 days late that little stinker! I am sure she'll be well worth the wait!

We will post updates as more happens! Wish me luck, I am NERVOUS!

Just about 40 weeks and House Progress!

I have said since the beginning that I would probably go AFTER my due date, but the closer it gets, the less I am okay with it! We are so excited to meet our little girl, and have been on "standby" for a week now! I have been dilated to a 1 and 95% effaced for 3 weeks now! I went to the doctor yesterday (when this picture was taken) and I am STILL the same! I really don't want to get induced unless I am progressed a LITTLE farther. After witnessing my sisters labor when she wasn't ready, I am terrified! My doctor won't let me go more than a week over my due date... so if we don't have her by the end of next week, we'll be scheduling her delivery! Maybe this will be the last picture we take on our Thursday night... we shall see! COME ON JAYLEE! We are ready!

Sorry this picture isn't the greatest! We got to the house late and it was dark already. We had to shine the headlights on it, and I also had to lighten the picture. They are really making progress. We went last night at 8:30pm and they were STILL working or I would have gotten a more updated picture! We are so excited to move in! It's getting closer!

I am on the downward slope of my pregnancy! I am having mixed feelings about this being over. I am SOO excited to have Jaylee and to finally be able to hold her, but I am going to miss her kicks in my belly and I think I am going to miss this baby belly too! Although being able to bend over sounds really nice right about now!

I think I am ready for her to finally come though. I am always worried about how she is doing, and it'd be a lot less stressful to actually be able to SEE what she is doing! We have waited a long time! I am getting so nervous about labor too! I hope I get lucky and it's not TOO horrible for me! I can't wait to see what she's going to look and act like! We are so excited to be parents! Here is my 38 week 5 day picture! :)

One Year Anniversary

I honestly can't believe that it's been a YEAR since we got married and over 4 1/2 since we started dating! They have been the best years of my life hands down. I couldn't have asked for a better husband and best friend. We have had some major things happen this year, and I am so glad it's Eric that I am sharing all of these wonderful changes with!

I am so excited for many more years with him! I can truthfully say that he is the best thing that's ever happened to me and I am SO lucky to have him in my life!

New House and 38 Week Update!

Now that there is more than just a hole in the ground, I thought i'd post some pictures of the progress on our house! They got all of the plumbing done, and should start framing by Tuesday!

We went and picked colors for the house last week, and luckily my mom came! She was a HUGE help. Once we got the brick picked, she suggested that we go over and look at it at the actual brick place to see what we would be getting. They have bigger displays there, so it's easier to see what it will look like rather than just looking at 3-4 bricks! OHHHH and I am glad we did. When we got to the store, I about died when I saw the brick on a larger scale that we chose.... it was like SALMON PINK! Not my style at all! So we luckily saw one that we really liked, and changed the color. Now I just have to go back and change the shutter color! Phew... this can be pretty overwhelming, but we are getting it figured out!

This is just taken a little bit to the right... that's the garage! The soil on our lot is SO ROCKY... but we'll just have to bring some top soil in once we want to plant grass! :)

I am now 38 weeks pregnant. It's crazy! We are so ready to meet our little girl, but want her to stay put as long as she needs to! Everyday in my belly is beneficial to her, so she can take her time. I am actually not that uncomfortable, so I am doing well! I have been feeling really crampy on and off, the doc says that's just my body practicing! Hopefully it's practicing overtime and makes my labor really easy-- ya right :) We go back to the doctor on Thursday so we'll see if I have made any progress. I am starting to get our hospital bags packed and ready to go incase she decides to come a little early. It's so hard to try and think of everything that you will need, so any suggestions would be GREAT! :)

36 weeks 5 days

Here is my ever growing belly! I went to the doctor on Monday and he said I was 95% effaced and 1cm dilated. I know I can stay at this same spot for weeks, but I was just happy that my body was progressing and doing what it is supposed to! Maybe she will come early? I am also measuring right on track now instead of behind, which I was happy to hear! We will see if I have progressed anymore on Monday!

Anyway, other than that, I have been feeling great. We are just trying to get things ready for miss Jaylee to come! I can't believe how close we are to having this little girl. It's kind of surreal and we are SO excited!

We are also building a house! So many major things happening at once! :) They should have the basement dug by tomorrow, and then hopefully it goes quickly after that! It's going to be pretty crazy moving and having a newborn, but we are so excited to have our own little house with our growing family!

As for now, that's all the news that I have! I will post pictures of the progress of our house once there is more to see than a piece of land with weeds!

My sister was showing me these way cute memory boards the other day, and we decided that we were going to test our skills and see if we could make one ourselves! We went to the fabric store, got some fabric, and all of the other supplies and made them this weekend!

Have a look at these! I was pretty happy with how they turned out!

This one is my sisters. We even covered our own buttons to match perfectly!

This is the one I made. I know the colors are a little weird, but I did it to match Jaylee's bedding! Her crib sheet is the same yellow polka dots, just opposite colors. Then the red and brown are also a big part of the color scheme in there! It looks so cute in her room!

I pretty much just made hers to hold bows! You can stick little pictures under the ribbon too! Or pretty much anything else you want to put on here! I didn't want to hang it up yet... I will do that once we get into our new house!

I had another baby shower in Weiser, ID (Eric's home town) on August 8th! It was great to see everyone there, and to get the girls together one last time before Jaylee (I think we FINALLY decided on a name) gets here! Not only did I get to see all of Eric's family, but also a few good friends from Moscow! I had an awesome time, and was so glad to see everyone that made it to the shower!

We played a few games and ate a lot of good food. One of the games was guessing how big around I was. Almost everyone guessed about a foot too BIG! It's was pretty funny seeing how close everyone got!

It's been a bit since I posted a picture of my growing baby belly! I went to the doctor last week and I am still measuring a week behind... hopefully that doesn't mean she's coming back a week LATE!

I am still doing really great, and even tho it seems like she'll be here soon, I still have over a month to go! That's okay, she can take her time as long as she's healthy!

This pregnancy has been very easy for me so far, and I am hoping my labor goes just as well! I'm getting a little bit nervous, but I am sure I will be ready once it gets closer! We can't wait to meet our little girl :)

23rd Birthday & 4D Ultrasound

I had quite an eventful week this week, and it's not even over yet! :) My birthday was on Tuesday the 21st... I turned the big 23! I got woken up by Eric jumping on the bed before he left for work (this was his way of telling me Happy Birthday).

I got up and went to lunch with Eric, and did a little shopping! Right after that, my sister picked me up and we went and got our nails done! Later Eric and I met my parents are the Whitewater Grill for dinner and I opened presents!

The next day, Eric took the day off to spend some time with me (which NEVER happens) so I was SUPER happy about that! We ran some errands, looked at houses and got ready for the BBQ Eric planned for my birthday!

This is the Cake "ERIC" ordered for the BBQ. (Actually Caysie is to thank for this super cute cake! She ordered it for him) :):) It was SO good too!

These are the flowers Eric sent me on my birthday. I LOVE them! He's such a good hubby!

So we decided that we wanted to get a 4D ultrasound done since our gender one didn't turn out good at all. She was breech during the gender one, so we didn't even get to see her profile or anything.

We went in on the 14th of July for our first 4D and she would not get her hands away from her face! She didn't cooperate, so we ended up going back on the 16th! She did the SAME thing. We didn't get any good pictures of her, so they told us to come back! We went back on the 22nd, and she finally gave us a few good pictures...so here they are!

My Baby Shower

My mom and sister threw me an awesome baby shower on July 18th :)

I loved how everything turned out, and it was great seeing everyone who could make it!! We played a few games and ate lots of food. I had a really good time! Here are some pictures...

I hope everyone had a great 4th of July! To be honest, I can't believe it's already JULY! Eric had to work this year for the 4th. He was only working until 3:30, so we still got to spend the afternoon together! We relaxed at home for a while, and then went down to the river for some dinner and to watch the fireworks! We didn't have as much to choose from for dinner, but I did stand in line for 15 minutes for a funnel cake! Eric thought I was ridiculous, but it was well worth the wait :) Here are a few pictures!!!

Diesel got groomed and they put this cute little 4th of July bandana on him. He looked SO cute :) Very festive!!!

Here is a picture of us waiting for the fireworks to start. We ended up finding a really good spot at the last minute, but we had to walk about 3 miles back to the car once they were done.... at least it felt like 3 miles to me!

The fireworks were amazing as always! We are so lucky to have such a good show here in Idaho Falls!

28 Weeks and 4 Days... only 80 days to go!

I feel like I have grown TONS since last week. My belly button has been aching, and it feels like it's being ripped from the inside! My ribs have also been popping out of place, which is quite unpleasant!

Other than that, I have been feeling great! I am LOVING her big kicks and feeling her move around! We are getting closer and we are SO excited!

Much Needed Update :)

It's been a while since I posted a blog, so I figured I had better catch up on what's been going on!

For Father's day, we were just planning on hanging out at home, and getting some cleaning done... but Eric talked to his parents around 11, and they asked if we wanted to meet them half way (well it ended up being 30 mins longer for them) in Twin Falls for Dinner. We thought "why not" and hopped in our car! We went to Chili's and then over to Shoshone Falls. As many times as I have passed by the falls and never went to take a look, it was about time! They are pretty amazing. It was raining a tiny bit, but the mist coming off of the falls left you walking away looking like you just got out of the shower! haha We had a great time, and were glad that we went to see them, even if it was just for a few hours! Here are a few pictures...

This cloud was the beginning of some HORRIBLE hail! I thought we were going to get out and have little dents all over our car!

Here is Eric, his mom and dad! Somehow I always end up taking all the pictures, so you wouldn't even know I was at half the places we visit!

The Falls!

This last weekend we went to one of our good friend Jesi's wedding. It was held near Eric's hometown so we got to see his family as well. It was nice to get away for the weekend and see some old friends from Moscow!

On the way up to Weiser, we passed by several dairy farms. The smell would come in through the vents and Diesel would jump up and sniff right in front of them! He spent a lot of time cooling off in front of them too! Good thing he got groomed, because I think he was close to a heat stroke! Here is a pic of his hair blowing in the wind!

I got pretty bored on the way, so I had to take a quick picture of the two of us! Awwww...

I thought this was so cute! Diesel was resting his paw on my belly. He already loves his sister. He likes to lay his head on her a lot :) She must be a good pillow!

So, that's what we've been up to in a nutshell! My parents bought a pool, so I am looking forward to soaking in that the remainder of my summer. I am white as a ghost! haha. I am counting down to the day it gets delivered and set up! (9 days)!!!

Baby Nursery Paintings

After getting the nursery bedding, I have been looking all over the internet for decorations that would match. I wasn't too thrilled with what I found, and the things I DID find, didn't match! LUCKILY, I have a super talented mother that paints and draws! Sadly, she didn't pass on any of her talent to me, so I had to convince her to paint a little something for the baby's room! Of course it didn't take much to talk her into it, and to be honest, the pictures that I chose were pretty amateur for her, so they didn't take too long for her to finish!

I saw these pictures for one of the bedding sets here .

So I went and got the supplies, and paint in the right colors and this is what we came up with!

Ok, so I don't know about you, but there is NO way I could free hand the numbers and letters. I was ready to print out a giant 1,2 and FOUR and trace them! But she just started painting away. I was pretty impressed!

Once we got them all laid out, we loved how they looked, but wanted to add something to them. She thought of a cute idea, and copied the flowers from the bedding to tie it all together. Here she is drawing the flowers on the canvases.

Ta Da! PERFECT!

She sanded them a bit to give them a more antique look.

Here they are all finished and hung in our little girls room :) They turned out so good! Thanks mom for taking the time to do these for us!

They look better than I imagined! Our baby will someday appreciate this as much as I do :)

Diesel's 2nd Birthday

Yesterday was our dog Diesel's 2nd birthday! He obviously had no idea

what was going on, but he did enjoy the extra treats and more attention! Diesel usually goes everywhere with me anyway, and gets plenty of attention, but it's not everyday that he gets a doggie cake!

I decided at the last minute that he needed a birthday cake! I ran to the store and got the interesting ingredients that went into the recipe and he seemed to enjoy it. It even had "dog safe" frosting!

We took him out on the back deck (which by the way looks like it does because it's getting ready to be finished), and presented him his cake! He didn't know what to do with it at first. I think he thought he was doing something wrong because he doesn't usually get a whole plate of food handed to him! Not to mention he probably felt weird eating when me, Eric, my mom, Ryah and Dustin were watching while Caysie took pictures. HAPPY BIRTHDAY DIESEL

Salt Lake City Trip

Mother's day weekend we decided that we would take a little trip to Salt Lake City to shop for our baby girl! My sister Caysie, her boyfriend Dustin, and my niece Ryah all came with us! We left on Saturday morning and shopped all day long, and then came back Sunday afternoon after we went to the Hogle Zoo!

I have been eyeballing this bedding online for quite some time now! I figured we would have to order it, but we walked into Babinski's and there it was! I was so excited that we didn't have to wait for it to be shipped to us. Although, they didn't have ANY of the accessories, so we have to order the changing pad cover, lamp, mobile and valance. I will post pictures of the nursery when it's all done!

Here is a little better view of the set! I LOVE it! :):)

This is the car seat that we bought for our little girl, before we knew she was a girl! We wanted it to be neutral for a boy or girl so that we can use it more than once. I LOVE paisley so it was perfect! We also put the JJ Cole BUNDLE ME on for when she arrives since it will be a little cold!

AND this was a great find! I showed Eric this diaper bag online before we went shopping! I didn't think that I would get it, but we found a great deal and Eric was more than happy to get it for me! Isn't he great!?

This is all of the clothes that we got our little girl this weekend! My parents, being as generous as they are, gave us money to shop for her since they couldn't be there! We had so much fun! And those little shoes are SO tiny and cute!

How are we ever going to choose a name!?

I think that my belly is growing by the minute! haha. I woke up on Tuesday morning and was commenting on my belly being bigger and Eric said " Yeah you can defiantly tell that you are pregnant now"!

Although I went into the store the other day and saw someone I hadn't seen forever! I told her I was 2o weeks and she said "Ohhh I wasn't sure if you were pregnant or not"! Are you KIDDING? I thought it was pretty obvious by now! But that's not as bad as my sisters pregnancy experience I guess! When she was about 32-33 weeks pregnant she went into Walgreens and the woman at the register asked her....

"Are you pregnant, or is that just a beer belly?" HAHA

Anyway, I am still feeling great and just getting excited to meet our little girl. We haven't decided on a name yet... but I am getting anxious to find a name for her soon! Here are the names we like so far.....

Anyone have any suggestions for a cute name? We could defiantly use the help! We want something really unique, but not WIERD! :)

So this weekend me, Eric, my sister Caysie, Dustin and Miss Ryah are going to Salt Lake to SHOP! We are going to try and find some baby clothes, along with a bassinet, swing, and maybe a diaper bag (If I find one I like)! THEN on Sunday we are taking Ryah to the Hogle Zoo! She's going to love it! I am getting SOO excited! I'll post lots of pictures when I get back! Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Update on our Baby Girl

So I am 19 weeks, 20 weeks on Saturday! Holy cow, almost half way there! I have had a pretty eventless pregnancy so far, but I am loving it! I never knew how stressful pregnancy really was, but I am constantly worrying about this little girl! Here is the first ever (published) belly shot! I have been taking them since week 10, but just haven't posted them!

Please excuse my PJ's... I tend to wear them a lot more now that I am pregnant and not working! There is a little bump so far, and I am excited to be VERY noticeably pregnant! Come on baby belly!!!

Miss Ryah's visit to the Hospital :(

A few weeks ago, my sister took my niece Ryah to the ER because she had a really hoarse cough, a fever, and was breathing irregularly.

They thought that she had phenomena, and admitted her into EIRMC later that night. They put a IV in her poor TINY arm and were giving her lots of fluids and steroids. Although she was a little scared to be in an unfamiliar place, you would have never known she was that sick! She was smiling, laughing and talking like crazy (as long as there weren't any strange people around)!!

They later looked at her x-ray again and were convinced that it wasn't phenomena, that it was RSV. This is still serious, but we were happy to hear it wasn't phenomena. She got out after 2 days of being in the hospital, and is doing great now! These pictures didn't turn out that well, but here are a few of little Ryah.

She was attached to Caysie, and that room was so small the chair was almost the only place to sit down!

Looking into the crib with Grandma... she liked to be in there ONLY when we were watching her!

I brought over some Cherry Pudding, and she LOVED it. Almost the only thing she would eat.

We all agreed that she looked like the JOKER from Batman here! HAHA

Easter Weekend and Grandpa Montague's 80th Birthday in Weiser

We drove up to Weiser on Easter Weekend not only for Easter, but for our Grandpa Montague's 80th birthday. Sadly... I don't know how, but I don't have any pictures of him at his birthday party (we only have video). But here are some pictures of the rest of the weekend!

Adorable Madalynn with Diesel. He always likes to cuddle up next to the babies! And of COURSE he's SUPER dirty from running around with the other dogs and being on the farm!
